Who we are

Miia Chambers and Associates // Miia is passionate about supporting human potential. A former Finnish International tennis player and coach of elite athletes. From high performance to people development, Miia has a track record in leadership and elite athlete coaching, as well as training and development of innovative methodologies to lead to better outcomes for people and organisations.
Highly experienced in mindfulness and compassion methodologies as a trainer and supervisor. Versatile and impactful, Miia has made a difference to individuals, organisations and systems in a range of fields and sectors; as a Practitioner, Coach, Supervisor, Chair and as a Director of a specialist Mind association across London and Manchester. Miia was previously Deputy Chair and Trustee of the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA).
Miia is supervised by Professor Ross White, University of Belfast, and she collaborates for research with City University, as well as working with associates from innovation, mental health, psychology, sports and research fields.

Hana Villar and Associates // Hana has been in senior management roles in community mental health for the past 20 years in both the US and UK. As a psychotherapist and doctoral researcher in psychology, Hana is passionate about neuroscience-informed practice and supporting her clients to explore and unlock their potential for human flourishing (eudaimonia). Her recent focus has been to coach health and social care practitioners on the interconnectedness of self-care, wellbeing and performance, using a bespoke reflective wellbeing methodology.
Hana began her personal and professional journey with mindfulness, acceptance and compassion-focused therapies in 2003 when training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She has an MSc in research psychology, focusing on change mechanisms and mental health outcomes in mindfulness-based interventions.
Hana Villar is currently Clinical Director of Mind CHWF in East London, Visiting Lecturer in Psychology and Clinical Neuroscience at City, University of London and has her own psychotherapy practice.
